Aberdeen Golf Club

Discover a different kind of golf in St. Louis. Set in the heart of the Crescent Valley along the Meramec River, Aberdeen Golf Club delivers the region’s most authentic Scottish-inspired links experience. Rolling fairways, natural contours, and ever-changing conditions challenge your creativity and reward smart play—every round feels fresh, engaging, and unforgettable.

Aberdeen Golf Club challenges golfers with a wide range of shot requirements—demanding length when needed, precision when it matters most, and the ability to shape shots into defined landing areas and firm greens. Just as on traditional Scottish links, changing winds are a constant presence, ensuring no two rounds ever play the same. The result is a true shot-maker’s course that rewards creativity, strategy, and imagination.

Course Details

Designed by renowned golf course architect Gary Kern, Aberdeen is an 18-hole, par-72 championship links-style course unlike anything else in the St. Louis region. Rolling zoysia fairways, native grass terrain, traditional sod-wall bunkering, and two strategically placed lakes combine with sweeping views of the Meramec River bluffs to create a visually striking and strategically demanding layout.

Closely mown zoysiagrass fairways and green surrounds encourage a variety of approaches, particularly along the ground, while firm, fast bentgrass greens replicate the playing conditions found on classic links courses. Golfers are invited to think their way around the course, using contours, angles, and trajectory rather than relying solely on power.
