Since opening in 1968, Oakcreek Country Club has been a cornerstone of Sedona’s golf community. The grand opening match featured professional golfers Miller Barber and Bob Rosburg, kicking off decades of excellence and tradition.

As Sedona’s first golf course, Oakcreek holds a special place in Arizona golf history. Its scenic design and exceptional playability have made it a sought-after destination, hosting prestigious tournaments such as the Sedona Open and events organized by the Arizona Golf Association.

Course Details

Oakcreek’s traditional layout reflects the classic style found in the Midwest, featuring tree-lined doglegs, strategically placed fairway bunkers, and slightly elevated greens surrounded by large, swirling bunkers.

True to the vision of the Trent Jones team, the course is “player-friendly,” offering plenty of room for recovery while still challenging golfers of all skill levels. The course spans 145 acres, incorporating three serene lakes. Water hazards add to the challenge, coming into play on the front nine at holes #4, #6, and #7, and on the back nine at holes #10 and #18.
