Originally built during the Great Depression with Work Progress Administration (WPA) funding, Ross Rogers Golf Course opened in 1940 and was named after Mayor Ross D. Rogers (1932-1941), who championed its creation. The course expanded to 27 holes in 1959 and completed its 36-hole layout in 1978.Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just getting started, Ross Rogers Golf Complex offers an unforgettable experience at an incredible value. Course Details

Today, the complex features two distinct 18-hole championship courses. WildHorse Course underwent a complete renovation in 2011-2012, led by John Colligan and Trey Kemp. Mustang Course was fully redesigned and reopened in 2004 by Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design.
Championship Golf for All Skill Levels

The award-winning WildHorse course has been recognized as Amarillo’s best golf course by the Amarillo Globe-News and the People’s Survey every year since its reopening. It also earned the #1 Best Economic Value in Texas for courses under $40 by the Dallas Morning News in 2007 & 2010.

Golf fees including green fee and cart range from $32-$35 + tax per player depending on season, day of week and time.
